Program and Marketing Manager: 2012-Present

• Responsible for the development, management and evaluation of programs and events including Annual State Conference, Annual Marketing Summit, Annual Leadership Summit, Athletic Directors Workshop, State Wide Athletics Committee, regional workshops, special events and fundraisers.

• Develop and manage NCRPA’s educational program content for online and in-person trainings.

• Manage exhibitor and sponsorship sales and development, including recruitment, logistics and sponsorship

  activation.

• Increased the Association’s sponsorship and exhibitor revenue by evaluating and restructuring the sponsorship

  sales process to better fit the needs of commercial partners while leveraging the value of event properties.

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Association’s marketing, communications, outreach

  efforts and special projects, including the management of website, social network outreach, NCRPA News, print

  and digital media, email marketing, editorial calendars, creative development and brand.

• Developed a marketing and communications strategy for the association that streamlined and branded email

  communications, expanded social media presence and increased member engagement.

  archiving.

• Creative development and design of program and marketing materials, including the Association’s Annual Report,

• Planned, managed and evaluated special programs and events for Town of Chapel Hill and co-sponsors, reaching over seventy five thousand citizens in the region.

• Marketed special events and programs; developed promotional opportunities, social media, website copy, newsletters, promotional materials and packages for all programs and events.

• Researched and identified potential event opportunities; provided information and responded to citizen, community and businesses concerns regarding events.

Operation Frontline Coordinator: 2009-2010

• Coordination of Operation Frontline courses: classroom management, secured required food and materials, managed and supported interns, volunteers and participants.

• Worked with community-based agencies to expand reach of the program by identifying course sites and partners to host Operation Frontline courses.

• Managed and developed volunteers and the volunteer database by: recruiting, training, and retaining culinary professionals, registered dieticians, nutritionists and volunteers who led the Operation Frontline courses.

• Created equipment and curriculum inventory tools to help streamline the class coordination process.

• Created content for Twitter, Facebook, blogs, videos and newsletters.

• Planned, organized and coordinated volunteer networking event in partnership with Earth Fare.
